With a breakpoint of approximately 1900 kg for 9.5 mm and 3674 kg for 13 mm, this rope is available in lengths of 50 m, 100 m, 150 m and 200 m. (Special lengths are available on special order). It features double-braid construction for durability and low-stretch properties for safety. Its low cost and abrasion resistance make it a good choice for use with our Portable Winch™ when it is subject to friction and heat.

The slings fasten the winch or snatch block to a tree, without damaging the bark or cambium of anchor trees. The polyester sling will not stretch. It is very useful for lifting or used as a choker.

Safe working load is 6400 lb (2903 kg) when used basket style (i.e. when anchoring the winch), or 4800 lb (2182 kg) in choker style (i.e. when anchoring the corner block).

This receiver hitch is ideal to attach the winch to your vehicle. Its 50 mm square tubing fits perfectly in Category III hitch receivers. Cushioned winch support plate pivots 45 degrees on either side, making the winch stable and self-aligning with the load.

Tree/pole mount with rubber pads, anchor strap 75 mm wide x 3 m long (3'' x 9.8'). This anchor system allows you to firmly attach the winch on a tree or a post which makes it easier for working from one point for extended periods of time. The winch can therefore be installed at a more comfortable height and the pivoting support aligns the winch automatically with the load. To use it, you will need the receiver hitch winch anchor for 50 mm (2'') square tubing (PCA-1262).

This system was designed for vertical pulling. The 50 mm (2'') square tubing fits on the tree/pole mount (PCA-1263). It is designed so the rope goes through the pulley and then right up. It offers a solid support and is ideal for pulling electrical cables through conduits. Used with the tree/pole mount (PCA-1263) sold separately.

The self-locking pulley is designed for rescue operations. It features a brake cam system which allows the rope to go through freely in one direction and blocks it in the other direction. The spring-loaded cam can be disengaged by pulling a release cord. The 2-3/8" (60 mm) diameter aluminum pulley is mounted on self-lubricating bushing and stainless steel axle. The swing sides are also made of anodized aluminum.

The self-locking pulley is designed for rescue operations. It features a brake cam system which allows the rope to go through freely in one direction and blocks it in the other direction. The spring-loaded cam can be disengaged by pulling a release cord. When used in a system (with a matching double pulley), it can give you 4:1 mechanical advantage. Both 3" (75 mm) diameter aluminum pulleys are mounted on self-lubricating bushings and stainless steel axles. The swing sides and the main plate are also made of anodized aluminum.

The swing-side snatch block features a lightweight 4'' (100 mm) diameter deep groove aluminum sheave, with stainless steel plates that swing open to install rope. Sintered bronze bushing on stainless steel shaft provides 98% efficiency. Particularly useful for use when doubling the line, the rope cannot accidentally come out of the block. Use the steel locking carabiner to anchor to a polyester sling.

For extra heavy loads, you can multiply the winch power using pulleys. This double pulley features the same aluminum and stainless steel construction as our PCA-1274 with two 4'' (100 mm) diameter deep groove aluminum sheave. Using one double pulley (positioned at the load) with a single pulley, you can triple the pulling power of the winch to 7500 lb (3400 kg). With two double pulleys, an amazing 10000 lb of force can be exerted on a load!

A 5/16" (7 mm) opening will grab either 5/16" (7 mm) or 1/4" (6 mm) chain. Equipped with a 1/2" (13 mm) diameter grommet, it can be attached to any 1/2" (13 mm) rope or smaller. Attach the hook to the rope using the bowline knot. The bowline knot provides a secure connection, and can be untied if required.

The skidding cone will prevent logs from being stopped by roots, stumps or residual trees. It also protects your valuable trees along the skid path from being damaged. High Performance Polyethylene (HPPE) is among the world’s strongest fibers. HPPE ropes have been used in marine and industrial applications for years; we now offer HPPE chokers to replace choker-chains. Made of 3/8'' (9.5 mm) diameter HPPE rope with 15000 lb (6800 kg) minimum breaking strength, they are extremely strong, durable, and lightweight. Three links of 1/4'' (6 mm) chain and a 12'' (30 cm) metal rod at one end make it easy to install and provide an anchor point for a grab hook. A spliced eye at the other end is used to 'choke' the log. A true pleasure to work with, well worth the extra money.
