Vermeer HG6000E electric horizontal grinder
A powerful grind with energy-efficiency.
The Vermeer HG6000E electric horizontal grinder offers wood-waste processing customers a powerful option that can help save energy and reduce operating costs.
Two 300 hp (223.7 kW) mill motors provide plenty of power to the drum, which features reversible hammers and cutter blocks for longer life and optimum cutting performance. Down-pressure from the feed roller helps feed bulky and oversized material into the drum; the feed roller is easily reversible so the operator can reposition irregular material as necessary.
The HG6000E provides multiple configurations and conveyor options to help meet jobsite constraints. The skid-mounted unit offers a 14' (4.3 m) or 20' (6.1 m) infeed conveyor length and three options for the discharge conveyor, including a belly, fixed or folding conveyor. A trailer-mounted option is also available when additional mobility is needed.
